JUST WOULD LIKE TO SAY IT'S GOOD TO BE A PART OF SUCH A GREAT GRADUATING CLASS AS WE SENIORS OF '79 ARE. I'VE BEEN AWAY FOR AWHILE OVERSEAS AND AM NOW REAQUAINTING MYSELF WITH THE WINNING WAYS OF WILDCAT SPORTS AND PLAN ON ATTENDING THIS YEARS HOMECOMING GAME AGAINST HUEYTOWN. I HOPE TO SEE SOME OF MY OLD CLASSMATES AS WELL AS ENJOYING ANOTHER 'CAT VICTORY ON THE 13th. GO CATS!!!

I hear you out there, Dennis!
This is Darrell from the foxy and fine class of '79!  I just came across this website and I'm thrilled to have the chance to reach out to other fellow 'Cat fans.  I just returned to the Birmingham area from the Mississippi Coast after Hurricane Katrina and I've had the chance to see the Wildcats in action once last year against Northridge.  I'm living in Leeds working as a courier for a regional courier and warehousing company based in Atlanta.  Getting back to the football team...I wished I had made the Hoover game...I just knew it was going to be a special night for the 'Cats.  I was in the marching band back in '77 and '78 and had a BALL!  I'm looking forward to catching up with Wildcat fans and good buddies from yesteryear.  Seniors of '79, let your voices be heard!
