Well, I am happy that I will get to see you all again at the reunion.  I wish it were mandatory for everyone to come.  I was VERY upset to see some of the new deceased people on the list, I am shocked and saddened.
Thanks to the committee for all the work they are doing and will be doing for this years reunion.
Where and when will it be?
For anyone who remembers me (and my pink Cyndi Lauper hair) I will give you an update.
I have been married since 94, have a boy (Grayson) 11, a girl (Tanner) 7, and a boy (Parker) 4.   I tell Park Evans I named Parker after him.  Smiley He was always nice to me in high school.
I own a spa in Tuscaloosa where I am a Master Makeup Artist, esthetician, nail tech and Eyelash extension technician.  (Come see me!) I won't turn your hair green or anything. hehe  www.elementssalon.biz
I welcome any comments at the reunion about how young I look (no crows feet due to great skin care!) and if you want to say I am skinny, go ahead and lie.
There are several people on the list that have not been confirmed that I see around town every now and then, I would try the phone book.
Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me!
Take care and hope to see you soon.

Honestly, sometimes it isn't very fun.  I am not cut out to deal with employees I have decided.  I love what I do though, and that is an AWESOME thing. I love traveling to places like Hollywood and Las Vegas for training. I met Tom Cruise coming out of a coffee shop one morning while in Hollywood. Jessica Simpson's hairdresser helped me pick out some sunglasses and I did makeup training with a 45 year veteran of the industry.  So you can see, it can be LOTS of fun.
What have you been doing?
Can't wait to see everyone at the reunion.
Take care,
Kristi

It is great that you have your own business and doing well with it.  Hope to see you at the reunion, we have been working hard on making this a good one, since it is our 20 Year One!

Take care and good talking to you!

Hey Rebecca,
I just read the plans and they sound awesome.
I am so glad that it will be July.  That is a great time to have it.
Could you let us know the dress for each event.  I didn't know if we
need to be shopping for cocktail attire or anything.  (Good excuse to shop!)
Good to hear from you and can't wait to see you!
Take care,
Kristi

Hey Kristi,

On Friday night it's whatever you would like to wear, same goes for Saturday at the school.

Saturday night is casual sundress or pants suit for the girls.  Guys can wear dress pants, button up shirt or a polo type shirt, just no jeans or shorts per Indian Hills.  So unless you just want to wear a cocktail dress you don't have to.  We wanted to keep it as simple as possible.

Take Care!

Hi Kristi,
I haven't been to Hollywood yet Grin, but Vegas is a fun place.  I got married in 98 to my DH and we have three kids that keep us running.  (Abby 5, Ben 3, and Nathan 1).  We live in Northern Virginia and I telecommute for Qwest Communications - never run into celebraties, but love the people I work with.  I always come back to Tuscaloosa at least 1x a year for holidays - usually 2x a year.  The reunion should be a lot of fun - I'm really looking forward to it.

Hey Glenna,
What do you do?  I am not familiar with that company.  Ofcourse, knowing you, it is probably over my head!  lol
Aren't the kids great?!?!  They can be so much fun. I am so blessed.  So far I am not paying for my raising as they say.  But my daughter looks so much like me when I was her age,I am scared to death what she will be like when she turns twelve. Smiley Can't say anything about her hair.  Just no tatoos or weird piercings. I will hurt her if she does that.  Nothing I did was permanent at least. Smiley  As long as she is ok with sitting on the front row at church looking like whatever she wants, that is ok with me.  I am so conservative now, and she is so into what she looks like that I don't think she will ever go the way I did as a teenager.  At least I pray she won't.  Matter of fact, let's all pray. lol
Can't wait to see you!
Take care,
Kristi

Oh Kristi - you are too funny.  Kids are great, but take a lot of patience - sometimes I have it and sometimes I don't.  I think it is going to be hard to recognize everyone without big hair - mine is about the same as 15 yr - short straight.  My daughter loves those stick on tatoos so I will probably be in trouble in a few years.

Qwest is the regional telephone company for the 14 western states - like Bellsouth.   They also have business customers throughout the US, but I work in public policy on cost models and cost studies to determine/justify costs.  Its fun & interesting most of the time.  Typical 40 hr work week, but flexible enough that I can take off when needed with the kids.  I started working in the Denver office in 98 when Bill and I were in Colorado.  Luckily I have been able to continue regardless of where he has been stationed.

Have a great Wednesday.
