WOW 20 years has come and gone and I feel the same as I did when we graduated!! No, I didn't say I look the same, I said "I feel the same!!"

A lot has changed but then again alot has remained the same.

I am still married to the love of my life and high school sweetheart, Jimmy. We will celebrate 19 years on May 28th. We have 4 beautiful children. We still live in the Birmingham area (Vestavia Hills to be exact)
Jed (17 years old) is an Senior at Briarwood Christian School.
Christina (15 years old) is an Freshman at Vestavia High School.
Austin (13 years old) is in the 7th grade at Pizitz Middle School.
Caleb (9 years old) is in the 3rd grade at Cahaba Heights Elem.

The old saying of "You can take the girl out of the country, but you cannot take the country out of the girl" best describes me. I break, train, ride, and show Quarter horses along with giving riding lessons, running kids to and from school, baseball practice, etc. Life with us is never boring or dull.

It has been fun reading about everybody. It will be fun seeing everyone at the reunion, just as it was at the 10th and 15th reunions.

Hey Michelle!  Smiley

Yes, I finally decided to make something of myself. haha

After spending all those years fixing computers, I decided to try my hand at fixing people. I just got a new wrench, a new set of screw drivers, oh and a bottle of glue. I think I'm set!  Wink

I saw your sister while I was home during the Christmas holidays. She told me that you now had 4 children. Congratulations. I don't think that I ever want 4, but I wouldn't mind having at least one.

Unfortunately, now that I am divorced, it may take a while before that is a possibility again. I hate to have to go through the whole dating thing again, but I'm sure it will be interesting. Although I don't really know what any good "pick-up lines" are these days. Maybe I should wait until I'm really making a lot of money and just let my car find a girl for me. I hear Maseratis are pretty good at finding women.  Tongue

I look forward to seeing you.

That is one thing that I hope I never have to go through!!! Yes, my sister did mention that she had seen you UNDER THE BIGGEST CACTUS IN TOWN! Do your parents still live in Lake Robinwood. I have not ridden through there in years. Tell Christy I said "HEY"  Michelle

Hey Michelle,

I can't believe that you have 4 kids.....not the Michelle that I knew in school.....So how have you been doing?  I have a daughter who will turn 18 in May and will graduate May 21st from TCHS.  I can't believe that I have a child graduating and a 20 year reunion all in the same year, but now I don't feel as bad because your sharing the same feelings as I am right now.....lol

I am so glad that your still married to your sweetheart, that is wonderful.  I married right out of high school also, but was not married long.  We divorced after our daughter was born and I was heart broken, because I love him with all my heart.  But we both had a lot of growing up to do.  We went our separate ways, both remarried and had children by our second marriages.  But, 2 years ago we found our way back to each other after 17 years and married again and it is wonderful this time around.  I never stopped loving him and I always knew in my heart that one day we would be together again.

I can't wait to see you at the reunion.  I think that my husband graduated with your sister, was she in the class of 1984?  If so, ask her does she remember Jackie Jones.

Take care!

Hey Michelle,
WOW sounds like you are busy.  I have 2 girls and 2 step daughters.  Ashley turned 17 yesterday, Vanessa is 12, Brandi is 20 and Beth is 17.  The horses sound like so much fun.  And I know what you mean about can't take the country out of the girl.  I live in Billingsley, Al close to Prattville.  We have a farm home on 2 acres and our closest neighbors are cows and horses.  lol  Take care Smiley.

Hi Michelle,
You have my daughter's dream job.  She just brought home a drawing that she wrote
" I am going to b a hors trnr whn I gro up."  Kindergarten - learning some phonics.  She loves horses, but unfortunately all the places here state you must be 8 before they will let you have lessons and I don't personally know anyone with a horse.  In TX we had a friend with horses so Abby remembers them from when she was just a toddler.  Ok she also loves planes and says she is going to fly them - anything adventure is where she wants to be.  Anyway glad to hear about what you have been doing.  See you in July.

Okay guys, I do not know how to respond to each of you. I am very computer challenged.

I received the reunion stuff and am battling with whether or not I need to go ahead and commit to going or do the procrastination thing and wait...........We have so much going on. That same weekend we are suppose to leave for Montgomery for the State 4-H Horse Show. Which means that Jimmy will have to take our RV down and set it up early, then I will haul 2-3 horses down for the week.
We are presently meeting with developers.......we have property here in Cahaba Heights that we are wanting to sell. If that sells then we will be moving b/c our house is one of the properties. I know alot of you have moved b/f.........well, country girl moved her bedroom furniture from her childhood home to her husbands home......so to say the least, my hair is standing straight up on top of my 5'9" frame. I guess the worse case is, I will just be able to attend Friday night.
